Piotr Kusiewicz

Piotr Kusiewicz is a renowned Polish vocalist and educator, currently serving as a Professor of Vocal Performance at the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk. He held the role of Dean of the Faculty of Vocal and Acting (1990–1996) and led the Department of Vocal Performance until 2021. A distinguished interpreter of contemporary music, he has performed globally in prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall and the Royal Festival Hall, with a repertoire spanning 140 oratorio works and operas by composers like Penderecki, Lutosławski, and Puccini.

• Education: Graduated from the Academy of Music in Gdańsk (piano, 1977; singing with distinction, 1980).
