Piotr Godzisz is the Co-Director of the Centre for Hate Studies and an Associate Professor in Criminology at the University of Leicester, UK. His work spans academic research, policy advocacy, and training across Europe.
Godzisz previously served as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow at the Université libre de Bruxelles and led advocacy at Lambda Warsaw (an LGBTI rights organization). He collaborates with institutions like the OSCE, Council of Europe, and EU on hate crime governance. His research focuses on anti-LGBT violence, legal frameworks, and transnational policy dynamics.
