Ping Wu

Ping Wu is Associate Professor of Research Pathology at University of Southern California, investigating neural circuits for behavior, tissue regeneration, and developmental biology. Her research combines biomaterials science with developmental principles to create regenerative scaffolds for bone repair, immunomodulation, and tissue integration.

Key innovations include bioinspired hydrogel systems for bone regeneration, piezoelectric periosteum mimics, and feather morphogenesis studies. Research utilizes avian models to understand integumentary organ development and evolutionary adaptations.
