معرفی
Adam Ekenseair is an Associate Professor in the Chemical Engineering Department at Northeastern University, where he has been affiliated since 2013. His research centers on designing polymeric biomaterials for tissue regeneration and disease treatment, with specific focus on 3D-printed scaffolds and injectable hydrogels.
Education includes a B.S. from the University of Arkansas (2005), Ph.D. from University of Texas at Austin (2010), and postdoctoral training at Rice University (2010-2013).
Research explores the interplay between material composition, structural hierarchy, and biological responses in regenerative medicine. Key areas include spatiotemporal tissue organization, novel biopolymer development, and treatments for bowel diseases.
Publications demonstrate consistent focus on biomaterial innovation, with recent work advancing hydrogel technologies for gastrointestinal and bone tissue engineering.
