معرفی
Lida Moradi is an Associate Research Scientist in the Department of Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation at Yale University School of Medicine. Her research focuses on biomaterials, tissue engineering, and regenerative medicine, with an emphasis on developing advanced scaffolds and hydrogels for applications in cartilage repair, fracture healing, and organ regeneration. She has contributed to studies on nanomaterials, drug delivery systems, and the interplay between exercise and biological processes in disease models.
Her recent work includes correcting composite biomaterial scaffolds for tissue engineering (2025), injectable hydrogels for diabetic fracture healing (2023), and reviews on ultrasound-responsive nanomaterials (2021). She has also investigated the effects of exercise on gene expression in obesity and osteoarthritis models (2022–2023).
Key themes in her research include material design for biomedical applications, in vivo testing of engineered scaffolds, and translational strategies for regenerative therapies. Her interdisciplinary approach bridges material science, cell biology, and clinical medicine to address challenges in orthopaedics and tissue repair.
