Pierre-Jean Benghozi is a Professor at École Polytechnique and a Research Director at the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS). He also serves as Commissioner at the French Electronic Communications and Postal Regulatory Authority (ARCEP). His expertise spans Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), digital economy, and creative industries. He is a pioneer in researching ICT adoption, market structuring, and business models in digital sectors. Benghozi founded the Innovation and Regulation in Digital Services Chair and co-developed the International Graduate Master in Network Industries and Digital Economy (IREN). He has authored over 150 academic publications and has been deeply involved in scientific integrity initiatives, including conflict resolution frameworks and anti-plagiarism systems like the one for the French National Foundation for Business Management Education (FNEGE).
Education: Engineer from École Polytechnique, PhD and HDR in Economics from Paris Dauphine University.
Research Focus: Addresses challenges in ICT governance, plagiarism prevention, and the ethical dimensions of digital research. Advocates for formal legal frameworks to combat academic fraud internationally. His work bridges technology, economics, and policy, emphasizing transnational collaboration.
