Pierfranco Conte

Pierfranco Conte is a Full Professor at the University of Padua and Scientific Director of the IRCCS San Camillo since 2022. He holds expertise in Medical Oncology, with leadership roles including Director of the Medical Oncology Department at the Veneto Cancer Institute (IOV) and Coordinator of the Veneto Oncology Network for over eight years.

• Education: Degree in Medicine and Surgery, specialization in Oncology at the University of Turin.

His research focuses on neuro-oncological rehabilitation, aiming to develop protocols for the prevention, early diagnosis, and treatment of neurological disorders in oncology patients. He leads Line 4 – Neuro-Oncological Rehabilitation, addressing both central and peripheral nervous system complications from cancer or treatments.

• Awards: Multiple honors including the Claude Jacquillat Award (2007) and AIOM Clinical Research Award (2018).

He actively contributes to scientific societies (AIOM, ESMO, ASCO) and chairs the Periplo Foundation. His 500+ publications reflect his commitment to advancing oncological clinical research and interdisciplinary care.
