Phill Heritage

Phill Heritage is Senior Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Physiology and Human Performance Service Lead at Health Sciences University. He holds an MSc in Applied Sport and Exercise Physiology from Bangor University and PGCert in Medical Education from University of Dundee.

His research focuses on concussion in sport, including current PhD work on behaviors and attitudes toward concussion in football. Additional interests include performance parameters in para-athletes and psycho-physiological responses in extreme environments.

As BASES Accredited Sport Scientist, he provides performance support to professional athletes and conducts technology trials for VO₂ max prediction and concussion diagnosis. He has secured research grants including £15,000 from Royal College of Chiropractors.
