Philippe Guillaume is a PhD student in Art History at Concordia University and a Research Fellow at the Gail and Stephen A. Jarislowsky Institute for Studies in Canadian Art. He obtained an interdisciplinary MA in photography and art history from Concordia University in 2012. His research explores the intersection of walking and photography in contemporary art practices.
Guillaume is affiliated with several academic networks, including the 'Déplacement et Mobilité' research group at Université Laval's École des Arts Visuels and the Canadian Photography History Research Group. His work has been published in Ciel variable magazine, with an upcoming article in the Journal of Canadian Studies.
