Philippe Bezes is a CNRS Research Professor at the Centre for European Studies and Comparative Politics (CEE) at Sciences Po, where he teaches the sociology of public administrations and state reforms. He holds a PhD in Political Science (2002) from Sciences Po and an HDR (Habilitation to Direct Research) from 2014. His work focuses on the historical sociology of administrative reforms, neo-managerial turn in public bureaucracies, and comparative analysis of state rationalization processes.
