Philippa Jackson is an Associate Professor of Biological Psychology and Director of the Brain, Performance and Nutrition Research Centre at Northumbria University. She serves as Impact Lead on the Research and Knowledge Exchange Committee in the Department of Psychology. Her research focuses on the relationship between dietary components (nutrients, whole foods, supplements) and brain function/behavior, particularly investigating omega-3 fatty acids' effects on cognition, sleep, stress, and well-being across the lifespan. She has expertise in conducting large-scale randomized controlled trials, collaborating closely with industry partners.
