Dr. Philip O’Donnell is an Assistant Professor and AXA Postdoctoral Researcher at the DCU Business School, affiliated with the National Centre for Family Business. His research focuses on resource-deprived entrepreneurship in developing regions, particularly Africa, examining topics such as livelihood strategies, economic informality, and social capital. He holds a doctoral degree in entrepreneurship from DCU Business School, supervised by Prof. Eric Clinton, Prof. Colm O'Gorman, and Prof. Julio Castro.
His work has been published in prestigious journals like the Academy of Management Review.
