Philip Mellizo is Associate Professor of Economics and Business Economics at the College of Wooster, researching how workplace institutions affect human behavior using experimental and econometric methods.

Investigates behavioral economics, labor relations, and employee ownership impacts. Awarded Joseph Cabral Distinguished Scholarship (2018-2020) for study of employee compensation models. Emerald Literati-recognized publication examines consumer valuation of employee-owned businesses.

Teaches courses spanning microeconomic theory, labor economics, and economic development.
