Philip Leach

Philip Leach is Professor of Human Rights Law at Middlesex University's Faculty of Business and Law. As former Director of the European Human Rights Advocacy Centre (EHRAC), he litigates cases before the European Court of Human Rights involving Russia, Ukraine, Georgia and other states.

Research examines implementation mechanisms for human rights judgments, rule of law crises, and accountability for systemic violations. Recent publications analyze pilot judgments, political prosecutions, and domestic execution of international court decisions.
