Philip J. Landrigan is a pediatrician and public health physician serving as Professor and Director of the Program for Global Public Health and the Common Good at Boston College's Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences. His research uses epidemiology to study environmental health hazards affecting children, with notable contributions to lead poisoning prevention and pesticide regulation. Formerly led studies at the US National Academy of Sciences that reformed federal pesticide laws and established EPA's Office of Children's Health Protection.
