Dr. Philip Adebahr-Maskow is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Sociology, Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg, and a Deputy Junior Professor for Microsociology with a Focus on Health at Leipzig University. His research bridges health sociology, social network analysis, and quantitative empirical methods, with a focus on negative ties, online networks, and fat-shaming.
Research Interests include the impact of negative social ties on health, social inequality in health outcomes, and factorial surveys to study tension-laden relationships. He also explores digitalization's role in health research and the methodological challenges of integrating survey, epidemiological, and social media data.
