Prof. Dr. Carsten Sauer is a Full Professor of Social Inequality and Social Structural Analysis at Bielefeld University's Faculty of Sociology. He leads the Sauer Group within the Department of Social Structure and Social Inequality. His research focuses on labor market wage inequalities, empirical justice research, and survey experiments. Sauer has held academic positions at Zeppelin University and Radboud University, and coordinates Erasmus programs for sociology. He is also a member of the Institute for Interdisciplinary Conflict and Violence Research.
