Dr. Phil Tobin serves as Dean of the School of Health Professions at Palm Beach Atlantic University, bringing over twenty-six years of extensive experience in Physician Assistant (PA) education and healthcare leadership. He holds a Doctor of Health Science (DHSc) degree and maintains certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C).
Dr. Tobin's career in medical education spans multiple prestigious institutions where he has held significant leadership roles. His expertise encompasses both academic administration and clinical practice, with particular emphasis on serving vulnerable populations through community healthcare initiatives.
His research interests focus on innovative approaches to physician assistant education, emergency medicine protocols, and healthcare delivery models for underserved communities. Dr. Tobin's educational philosophy integrates clinical excellence with compassionate care, emphasizing resilience and service to disadvantaged populations.
