Malatrice Montgomery is an Assistant Professor of Physician Assistant Studies at Agnes Scott College, where she contributes to training the next generation of healthcare professionals. She holds a Master of Medical Science from Mercer University's Physician Assistant Program and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Georgia State University. With over 15 years of clinical experience, she has practiced as an Interventional Radiology Physician Assistant at Piedmont Healthcare and Wellstar Health Systems.

Professor Montgomery is deeply committed to advancing the physician assistant profession through education, leadership, and service. Her teaching and scholarly interests center on mentorship of pre-PA students, diversity in healthcare, and professional advocacy. She has played significant leadership roles in national and state organizations, emphasizing equity and inclusion within the medical field.
Her professional affiliations include active membership and leadership in the African Heritage PA Caucus (President), American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA), Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA), PAs for Women Empowerment (PAWE), and the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants (GAPA), where she served as Director-at-Large, Engage Program Committee Chair, and Past Diversity Committee Chair.
Notably, she has been recognized with the Distinguished Service Award and named Humanitarian of the Year by the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants for her outstanding contributions to the profession and community.

Professor Montgomery is also the founder of Love In Action, a philanthropic organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families facing temporary hardships, reflecting her deep commitment to community service.
