معرفی
Dr. Petr Formánek is a researcher at the Leibniz Institute of Polymer Research Dresden working in the Center for Multi-Scale Characterization and as a member of the Electron Microscopy Group. His expertise focuses on advanced microscopy techniques for nanoscale materials characterization across multiple research domains.
His primary research areas include:
- Transmission electron microscopy (TEM, cryo-TEM)
- Focused ion beam (FIB) techniques
- Scanning electron microscopy (SEM)
- Elemental mapping at nanoscale (EFTEM, EELS, EDX)
Dr. Formánek applies these sophisticated characterization methods to study organic solar cells and transistors, lithium-sulfur batteries, block-copolymers, nanoparticles, nanocomposites, and polymersomes. He provides essential service measurements for the institute and conducts specialized training for PhD students in TEM techniques across the entire institute and SEM specifically for the Institute of Physical Chemistry and Polymer Physics.
His work supports multiple research divisions at IPF including Polymer Materials Engineering, Macromolecular Chemistry, and Polymer Biomaterials Science through advanced materials characterization capabilities.
