Peter Tsivis

Dr. Peter Tsivis is an Associate Professor of Pathology at Saba University School of Medicine, specializing in Pathophysiology. He holds an MD from a U.S. institution and has extensive clinical experience as a board-certified pathologist in both hospital and independent laboratory settings. Dr. Tsivis transitioned to academia in the Caribbean and U.S., returning to Saba University in 2017 and 2018 before rejoining as a full-time faculty member. His teaching focuses on pathology-related courses.

His research interests span pediatric pathology, molecular markers in fetal development, and diagnostic techniques in oncology. Notable publications include studies on granular cell tumors, fetal vascular biology, and immunohistochemical staining in breast cancer. He has also presented on innovative diagnostic methods for urothelial biopsies.
