Peter Travis Kroeker is a Professor of Religious Studies at McMaster University. His research critically examines the intersection of theology, ethics, and modern/postmodern thought, particularly focusing on the impact of technological paradigms on religious and socio-political structures. He holds degrees from the University of Winnipeg, Mennonite Brethren College, University of Manitoba, and a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago.

Research interests include messianic ethics, political theology, the relationship between technology and theology, and the ethical implications of secularism. His teaching spans courses on religion, literature, political theology, and social justice.
Notable works include Christian Ethics and Political Economy in North America (1995), Messianic Political Theology and Diaspora Ethics (2017), and Technology as Principality (2016). His articles explore themes like the role of literature in theology, the critique of modern political Augustinianism, and the moral dimensions of technology.
