Peter Tessarz

Peter Tessarz is a Research Group Leader at the Radboud Institute for Molecular Life Sciences (Nijmegen, Netherlands), focusing on chromatin structure, epigenetics, and aging. His lab relocated from the Max Planck Institute for Biology of Ageing (Cologne, Germany), where he led the Max Planck Research Group Tessarz since 2014.

Research interests include how chromatin architecture regulates gene expression during aging, with a focus on age-related epigenetic changes, metabolic-chromatin interactions, inter-organellar communication, and transcriptional control.
