Peter T. Cha serves as Professor of Church, Culture and Society at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (TEDS), part of Trinity International University, since 1997. He holds leadership roles with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship USA and the Louisville Institute, and previously contributed to the Association of Theological Schools' Committee on Race and Ethnicity (CORE).
His academic credentials include a BA from the University of Chicago, MDiv and ThM from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and a PhD from Northwestern University.
Dr. Cha's research centers on intercultural ministry and racial reconciliation within ecclesial contexts, with specialized focus on Asian American church dynamics and intergenerational community building. His work bridges theological education with practical church leadership, emphasizing culturally responsive pastoral formation.
