Peter Schneck is a Professor and Chair of American Studies at Osnabrück University, founder of the International Osnabrück Institute on the Cultural Study of the Law (OSI), and co-director of the research cluster 'Cognition and Poetics'. He actively engages in interdisciplinary research at the intersection of legal and cultural studies.

Publications highlight trends in interdisciplinary methodologies, exploring connections between legal evidence and literary narratives, as well as the cultural impact of terrorism on fiction.
