Peter Robinson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture at Cornell University's College of Architecture, Art, and Planning (AAP), based in NYC. He is the founder of WorkUrban, a design consultancy focused on community engagement and participatory design, and a founding board member of BlackSpace Urbanist Collective, recognized by Fast Company as one of the most innovative architecture companies in 2021. He serves on the Board of Trustees at AIA New York | Center for Architecture and advises BRACE and formerly the New York Coalition of Black Architects.

Robinson's research explores cultural subjectivity and the city, examining intersections between architecture, urban design, planning, and cultural theory to inform social action. He has led design studios with organizations like Universe City NYC, focusing on food sovereignty, health, and communal living.
