Peter Park is a Professor of Biomedical Informatics at Harvard Medical School and Director of its Bioinformatics and Integrative Genomics (BIG) PhD program. His research focuses on computational analysis of genomic data, particularly in cancer genomics, somatic mosaicism, and epigenetic mechanisms. He leads major projects like the Somatic Mosaicism across Human Tissues (SMaHT) network and contributes to consortia such as The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) and ENCODE. His work integrates advanced computational methods with clinical applications, aiming to advance precision medicine and understand genetic drivers of disease.
