معرفی
Eunjung (Alice) Lee is an Associate Professor in Genetics and Genomics at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Her NIH-funded research investigates transposable elements and somatic mutations in cancer, aging, and neurodegeneration.
Research Breakthroughs: Pioneered computational methods proving somatic retrotransposition in human cancers and neurons. Demonstrated how transposons shape cancer immunity and generate novel RNA isoforms through alternative splicing.
Leadership: Leads transposon analysis for NIH's SMaHT Network and co-organizes the inaugural Keystone meeting on somatic mosaicism (2025). Received NIH New Innovator Award for high-impact genomic research.
