Peter Monnerjahn

Peter Monnerjahn serves as a Lecturer in Philosophy at the Institute for Philosophy and Philosophy of Science at Johannes Kepler University Linz since 2019. His academic home is situated in the University Fund Building, 3rd floor (HF 316). His interdisciplinary background bridges philosophy, computational sciences, and linguistics.

Dr. Monnerjahn's research focuses on Critical Rationalism, particularly Karl Popper's philosophical framework as applied to contemporary challenges. His work critically examines the replication crisis in social sciences, arguing that epistemological foundations rather than statistical methods constitute the core problem. His research spans philosophy of science, epistemology, political economy, and philosophy of medicine.
