Peter M Ecke

Peter Ecke is Professor of Second Language Acquisition and German at the University of Arizona's Department of German Studies. He teaches courses on applied linguistics, multilingualism, and German language/culture.

Research focuses on:

• Vocabulary acquisition and lexical production in multilingual speakers
• Language attrition and forgetting mechanisms
• Study abroad program impacts on language and intercultural competence
• Assessment methodologies in language education
