Peter Lindsay is a Professor of Political Science and Philosophy at Georgia State University’s College of Arts & Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. and MA from the University of Toronto and a BA from the University of Colorado, Boulder. His research spans economic justice, ownership theories, and pedagogy in higher education, with prior affiliations at Harvard University and the University of New Hampshire.
His scholarly work includes two books: Creative Individualism and The Craft of University Teaching, alongside articles in Contemporary Political Theory, Polity, and History of Political Thought. He has contributed op-eds to The Atlanta Journal Constitution and The Chronicle of Higher Education.
Lindsay is a co-founder of the Georgia State University Prison Education Project and received the 2016 Polity Prize for best article published in Polity in 2015. His recent publications focus on distributive justice, property rights, and educational philosophies.
