Peter Kruschwitz serves as Professor of Ancient Cultural History at the University of Vienna since 2019, following a distinguished career at the University of Reading where he progressed from Lecturer (2007-2009) to Professor of Classics (2011-2019). His academic foundation includes a PhD from Freie Universität Berlin (1999) and research work with the Corpus Inscriptionum Latinarum at Berlin-Brandenburgische Akademie der Wissenschaften (1997-2007).
