Peter J. Strauss is a Distinguished Adjunct Professor of Law at New York Law School, where he co-founded and directs the Elder Law Clinic. The clinic represents individuals in guardianship proceedings and provides court evaluation services. He has taught at NYLS since 1992 and was named Distinguished Practitioner in Residence in 2003. Professor Strauss is a nationally recognized pioneer in elder law, focusing on legal challenges for aging populations and persons with disabilities.
