His work integrates neuroscience, ergonomics, and cognitive science to address challenges in human-technology interaction.
With over 200 publications and 21 authored/co-authored books, Hancock is a globally recognized authority in human factors. His research emphasizes stress management in engineered systems, adaptive automation, and the philosophical dimensions of science and engineering.
