Peter Gamwell is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Education at the University of Ottawa, bringing over forty years of experience in educational leadership, research, and practice to his academic role. Dr. Gamwell's research centers on the intersections of learning, leadership, and innovation and their impact on individual and organizational well-being. He advocates for strength-based approaches that move beyond deficit models to recognize and develop the unique potential in every learner and educator. His framework emphasizes four key conditions for fostering creativity: storytelling and listening, moving beyond diversity to inclusivity, making learning personal, and celebration of achievements.
