Peter Fierz

Peter Fierz is a Swiss architect and academic, currently serving as a Lecturer at the University of Basel and a former Professor at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). He holds a Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) from Cranbrook Academy of Art. His academic roles include teaching architecture and architectural theory, particularly in historic building restoration and urban design.

Professional affiliations include membership in the Swiss Society for Volkskunde, the Swiss Werkbund, and the Swiss St. Lukas Society for Art and Church. He has led architectural firms such as Fierz & Baader Architects and Fierz Architects AG in Basel. Fierz has served on numerous committees, including the Diocesan Building and Art Commission of Basel and the Design Advisory Board of Baden-Baden.
