Fritz Haller (1924–2012) was a renowned Swiss architect and academic. He served as a Full Professor at the University of Karlsruhe (now KIT) from 1977 to 1990, leading the Institute for Industrial Building Production. Earlier, he was a Guest Professor at the University of Southern California (1966–1971) and an Honorary Professor at the University of Stuttgart (1974). His career began with vocational training and work in Swiss architectural firms before establishing his own practice in 1959.

- 1948/49: Worked with Van Tijen and Maaskant in Rotterdam
- 1959: Self-employed architect in Solothurn with his father
Research & Design Focus: Haller specialized in innovative architectural solutions for industrial, educational, and public buildings. His work emphasized functional design, material efficiency, and integration with urban contexts. Notable projects include schools, technical colleges, and industrial facilities across Switzerland and Germany.

Key Projects: Over 50 significant buildings, including the Wasgenring Primary School (Basel, 1951–1954), Technical College Brugg-Windisch (1962–1966), and the SBB Training Centre Löwenberg (Murten, 1978–1982). He also contributed to large-scale urban projects like the Biel Centre (Biel 2000).
