Peter Catalanotto is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Writing at Pratt Institute's School of Liberal Arts & Sciences. He holds a BFA from Pratt Institute and is a renowned creator of children's literature, having written and illustrated over 50 books. His works include the Monkey & Robot series and Emily's Art, which received a starred review from School Library Journal. He has presented creatively in 40+ states and teaches Columbia University's first children's book writing course.
