Peter Blair is a Professor of Biology and Director of the Center for Global Health at Earlham College. He holds additional affiliations with the Biochemistry and Exercise, Sport and Health Studies departments. Research Focus: Dr. Blair specializes in molecular parasitology with emphasis on malaria biology and genomics. His NIH-funded research couples bioinformatics with molecular biology techniques to correct gene models in Plasmodium yoelii, directly involving undergraduates in cutting-edge parasite genomics. He also leads global health education initiatives through study-abroad programs in India, Peru, and New Zealand.
