Peter Bjorklund Jr.

Peter Bjorklund Jr. is a Lecturer in the Human Developmental Sciences program at the University of California San Diego (UCSD), where he also holds a postdoc appointment in the Education Sciences (EDS) department. His academic journey includes a B.A. in History from Occidental College, an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from Santa Clara University, an Ed.M. in International Educational Development from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Ph.D. in Education from UCSD (2021).

His research explores teacher identity formation, preservice/early-career teacher social networks, and educational challenges in crisis contexts. He has published extensively on STEM pathways, educational equity, and pandemic-era digital learning.
