Perry den Brok

Prof. Perry den Brok is a Professor and Chair of the Education and Learning Sciences group at Wageningen University & Research. He leads research in educational innovation, teacher professional development, and learning environment design. Previously served as director of the 4TU Centre for Engineering Education (2018–2023), driving educational reforms across Dutch technical universities. Active in national educational boards including the NRO PROWO Programme Council and the Inspectie van het Onderwijs Advisory Board. His work focuses on higher education pedagogy, formative assessment practices, and transdisciplinary education for sustainability challenges. Key projects include designing blended learning frameworks, capacity-building for climate services, and investigating student learning in uncertain contexts. Known for developing analytical tools like Orbital Decomposition Analysis to study educational interactions, and pioneering frameworks for assessing transdisciplinary learning environments.
