Penny Friedberg is an Adjunct Professor in the Nutrition department at Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH), where she has taught since 2010. She earned her M.S. in Nutrition and Integrative Health and an MBA, and contributed to curriculum design for the M.S. program. Her work bridges nutrition education and organizational purchasing operations through her role at The Purchasing Manager, a company she founded over 20 years ago.

Her research and teaching interests focus on holistic nutrition, whole-person health, and the therapeutic role of food.
