Dr. Peng Li is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Finance at the University of Bath’s School of Management, appointed in February 2023. He previously held positions as Lecturer and Research Fellow at the University of Leeds. He serves as an Associate Editor for the European Journal of Finance. His research focuses on empirical asset pricing, behavioral finance, and market anomalies, with attention to emerging economies and capital market dynamics.

Research interests include analyzing market anomalies through asset pricing models, behavioral finance mechanisms like prospect theory, and how information diffusion impacts capital markets in emerging economies. He has published in top-tier journals such as Management Science and Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis.
Dr. Li develops open-source tools for asset pricing research, including a Python package for accessing Chen-Zimmermann cross-sectional data. He currently accepts doctoral students in finance and asset pricing domains.
