Pelin Sekercioglu

Pelin Sekercioglu is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Division of Decision and Control Systems within the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. She collaborates with Prof. Dimos Dimarogonas and Asst. Prof. Angela Fontan on advanced control systems research.

Her educational background includes a Ph.D. in Systems and Control Sciences (2024) from Paris-Saclay University, where her thesis focused on “Control of Constrained Multi-Agent Systems with Cooperative and Antagonistic Interactions.” She earned her B.Sc. (2019) and M.Sc. (2021) in Mechanical Engineering and Advanced Systems & Robotics respectively from Sorbonne University’s Faculty of Science and Engineering.

Research interests span multi-agent coordination over signed graphs, nonlinear control for constrained systems, and applications in robotics and aerospace. Her work integrates Lyapunov stability theory with barrier functions for collision avoidance in dynamic networks. Current projects include formation control of robot manipulators and spacecraft constellations under antagonistic interactions.

Recent scientific recognition includes being a finalist for the 2025 Best PhD Thesis Award by GDR MACS. Upcoming engagements include presenting at CRAN (University of Lorraine) in July 2025 and participating in Reglermöte 2025 (Swedish Control Conference).

She maintains active collaborations with ONERA (The French Aerospace Lab), L2S Laboratory, and University of Groningen. Her research methodology emphasizes theoretical rigor with practical validation in aerospace and robotic systems, particularly focusing on systems with cooperative-antagonistic dynamics.
