Pelagia Goulimari is a Senior Fellow in Feminist Studies at the University of Oxford's Humanities Division and a Research Fellow at Somerville College. She serves as Co-director of the MSt in Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies and the Intersectional Humanities program at TORCH. As Editor-in-Chief of Angelaki: Journal of the Theoretical Humanities, she oversees a leading interdisciplinary platform with over 100,000 annual downloads. Her academic roles include editorial leadership, research supervision, and cross-cultural scholarly initiatives.
Her research focuses on 20th/21st-century literature, feminist theory, postmodernism, and race/gender intersections. Key works include After Modernism: Women, Gender, Race (2022), Love and Vulnerability (2020), and Toni Morrison (2011). She has edited 10+ special journal issues and contributed to Oxford's Encyclopedia of Literary Theory.
