Dr. Peiyao Shen is a Research Fellow at the University of Queensland's School of Economics. Previously, they held an Assistant Professor position at ShanghaiTech University and earned their Ph.D. in Economics from UNSW Sydney. Their research focuses on experimental economics, environmental economics, and applied microeconomics, with notable contributions to behavioral experiments on environmental policy, regulatory compliance, and gender competitiveness.
Key research interests include exploring mechanisms for truthful reporting in regulatory contexts, analyzing the impact of climate policies in China, and investigating competitive behaviors through experimental frameworks.
