Dr Peggy Polias is a Lecturer in Composition at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, University of Sydney. Her research focuses on creative process, artistic journalling, and secrecy studies, intersecting with broader themes in Australian art music and the freelance music industry.
Polias is actively commissioned by institutions like the Canberra Symphony Orchestra, with upcoming works including Cameo and Storyteller, inspired by ancient Greek and Roman myths.
