Peer Bundgård

Peer Bundgård is an Associate Professor at the School of Communication and Culture, Aarhus University, specializing in the Department of Semiotics. His research bridges Cognitive Semiotics, Phenomenology of Art, and conceptual analysis, with a focus on aesthetic perception, metaphor theory, and interdisciplinary approaches to visual and literary art.

His recent publications explore topics such as Husserl's theory of depiction, the structure of concepts in metaphor theory, and the semiotics of visual artworks. He has served as an editor for the journal Cognitive Semiotics since 2018.
