Pedro Seabra is an Assistant Professor at Iscte-University Institute of Lisbon in the Department of History, School of Political Sciences and Public Policy, and serves as Deputy Director and Integrated Researcher at the Center for International Studies (CEI-Iscte). He also directs the PhD Program in History, Security and Defense Studies and co-edits the Portuguese Journal of Social Science.

His work bridges theoretical analysis with practical security challenges across African contexts.
