Pedro Ramos Pinto is Professor of Contemporary History at the University of Cambridge and Fellow of Trinity Hall. He directs the AHRC-funded research network on Inequality and History and serves as Visiting Senior Research Fellow at the London School of Economics' International Inequalities Institute.
His research interests include the political economy of welfare, authoritarian welfare regimes, social movements, and protest dynamics. Current projects investigate the history of inequality measurement and the global politics of distribution since the mid-20th century.
